Shipping Rates

Prices cover shipping by weight and handling. The Sweet Spot ships all packages via USPS, UPS or FedEx. UPS and FedEx will not deliver to P.O. or APO Boxes. Each "Ship To" address requires separate shipping charges. The shipper is responsible for paying all associated actual shipping charges.

UPS Ground
We use UPS or FedEx Ground as our standard mode of shipping unless your request other. For items oversize and over weight, we use other methods. For all orders, shipping is determined by weight and geographic location.

UPS Next Day
UPS or FedEx Next Day requires an additional charge. For all orders, shipping is determined by weight and geographic location.

USPS (United States Postal Service)
Orders to AK, HI, PR, GU, VI, and Canada require an additional shipping charge.

Standard Shipping

Gel ice packs are available for an additional $5.00 - (estimated effectiveness 24 hours). Check the box on the order form for each order you wish to ship with gel ice packs.

Shipping Times

UPS Ground - 1 to 7 business days
UPS Next Day - Next business day in the PM (Please note: all orders must be placed by 11 AM EST Monday through Friday to receive your shipment next day.)

All shipping is Monday through Thursday (excluding national holidays) to address in the US. We cannot deliver to PO boxes.

We are currently shipping all continental USA orders by USPS, UPS or FedEx. Orders are shipped within three (3) business days. You will receive an e-mail notification when the order is shipped. If you have opted to receive your order by UPS or FedEx, you will be supplied a tracking number. Your order should arrive within 1-7-business days from the time you receive the email notification, depending on your state. To track your order, go to the UPS web site.

WARM WEATHER SHIPPING

Our Special Packaging Option is suggested for orders shipped during warmer weather (75 degrees or warmer). This includes UPS Next Day or FedEx Priority Overnight® delivery (within the contiguous U.S.), gel ice pack, and our guarantee that your order arrives unmelted. (An additional $20.00 per shipping container should be added to Standard Delivery Charge to cover the Next Day Air charges and special packaging. Refer to Standard Delivery Charge listed above.) To select our Special Packaging Option, check the box in the "Ship To" column on the order form for each order you wish to ship with this option.

By not selecting the Special Packaging Option, you waive this
option, and deliveries cannot be guaranteed.

During the summer and warm months, we do not ship on Fridays

Lost Shipment

Because regular USPS ground service provides no guarantees, The Sweet Spot cannot be held responsible or liable for the loss, theft, or delayed receipt of any orders using USPS ground option. Furthermore, orders are fulfilled to the address supplied on the shipping section of the invoice. The Sweet Spot will not be held responsible for lost gift certificates as a result of non-delivery due to incorrect addresses or other occurrences outside of our control. Title and risk of loss shall pass to the purchaser upon deposit in the US mail or supplying an incorrect e-mail address.

DISCLAIMER

Customer agrees that he/she is responsible for all shipping charges associated with the purchase of products hereunder, including without limitation any applicable address correction charge assessed by any shipper due to an incorrect delivery address (currently $10.00 by UPS) and any remote area surcharges that occur (currently $3.50 by UPS). The sender authorizes The Sweet Spot to charge customer’s credit card for an amount equal to such shipping fees and any address correction charges or remote area surcharges, and/or any additional fees (including customs/tariffs), and agrees that The Sweet Spot may do so without further notice to sender.
